We were given a new table this week, by some wonderful people from church.....Thank you Brother and Sister Brady! We are so excited, it makes a great table for Family dinners and a great workspace for me, and a great table to just look at. We are very blessed .
Reaganne being a sweetheart while Taylor was napping and letting Mommy work. She looks so grown-up. I love my baby girl, well, she will always be my baby....;)My poor husband....
Randy is the Property Manager for a community and has been there over a year. He has been dealing with the aftermath of a Property fire for two weeks now, and just yesterday did the whole situation settle down. He was reassured he wasn't losing his job, and things should be better from that point on. NOOOOO...OF COURSE NOT.....We get a call at 3:45 am this morning that a TORNADO has touched down in HIS COMMUNITY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME.....So, he makes some phone calls and off to work he goes at 4:30 am. I felt so bad for him and all the stress he is going through. He is doing such a great job handling it all and taking care of the community and the residents. I am so proud of him!!!!
So, today we have been up since 3:45 am this morning, and I am exhausted, but I just got down Editing Reports for my job, and it is 11:00 am, and I am waiting for my kids to run out of steam.
Does, anyone have any schedule ideas or advice for getting my kids to go to bed earlier. I feel like they are the energizer kids and never sleep. Any advice would be helpful...Thanks!

Hi! I hope that Randy is hanging in there!! He will certainly have some good experience handling crisis situations. Regarding the kids going to bed...I have found that sticking to a routine works wonders. I did a routine poster just like on Super Nanny...kids get up at a certain time, snacks, playtime, lunch, naps, snack, play/activity,dinner,bath,family time, bed...normally 6:30-7 for Tristan and 7 for Ethan if he doesn't take a nap that day. So far it's really worked..and then Scott and I have some time in the evening! Hope this helps!!
I was totally going to give the super nanny advice myself. Do you watch it? Start if you don't, I think it a really good show. I personally haven't used all of her techniques because I'm lazy, but I pull them out of the hat when I need to, and they do work.
