First two days at home...

So, you may have noticed I have not posted since bringing Baby James home. I have been much busier (imagine that with three kids)! The day I brought him home was extremely sureal for me! The first night was hard. He is feeding every two hours. I knew I should have been sleeping while he was in the hospital, but that never happened. The first day was actually great. The kids woke up earlier and came straight to Baby James to make sure he was still here and to say good morning to him. They love their little baby brother and want to be around him all the time. So, Reaganne is playing Mommy already, which is sweet, but after 10 to 12 hours of it a day it can get annoying. She directs me and tells me what to do and how to take care of James, even down to how to breastfeed him. She cracks me up. Randy went out with the Missionaries last night so it made for a really long first day with all the kids, however I got all the laundry done, cleaned the house, and cleaned the kids room (which needed it really bad), and gave the kids their baths early before dinner and then Lumary came over and brought up a yummy dinner. By the time Randy got home the kids had been watching a movie in their room and lying down, but as soon as Daddy walks in the crazyness begins. The kids were hyper, ready to eat again and I was done. I went to our bedroom with the baby and took a break. Today, was not too bad either. I was definitly tired this morning, but we were all able to sleep in until 10:30 AM (except daddy)we all got ready for the day, and then I let the kids play outside most of the day. I put their tables and play house outside and gave them some arts and crafts to do. They loved it and played out for hours. The baby slept a lot today, so I was able to edit some reports and work. I still kept up with the laundry and house, AND the kids room is still clean. Unbelievable. I am doing well, but lets see how long it last! HA! Carolyn came by tonight to bring me an adorable decorated picture of Baby James that she made (she is very creative and talented) and it will go great in the boys room. Also, and adorable outfit that he I am putting him in tomorrow to meet his Grandma. She got to hold Baby James for awhile, and endured the kids performing for her and jumping on her while holding the baby. This weekend will be nice too, it is Conference Weekend, and I have been spiritually preparing to hear the talks, and Grandma and Grandpa Grumbles are coming over tomorrow for Joan to meet the Baby. We should have a fun and spiritually fed weekend! ;) Pictures to come!
