It has been awhile....

A lot has happened since my last post! Randy and I celebrated our 5th anniversary!!!! Looking back over the past 8 years since we have been dating/married it has been a long and wonderful journey! I love him more and more everyday! We have learned a lot along the way and are still growing together in our Marriage and as parents. Randy is a wonderful father and husband. Thank you, Randy for being my best friend and such a wonderful companion and Daddy!
The kids have been growing up so fast, and I am reminded every day of how lucky we are to have eachother. My baby girl will be going to Kindergarten this year, and I am getting more and more sad and excited for her. We have just learned about a new Pilot Program here in Little Elm at the Most Recognized Elementary here that is putting together a Bilingual Kindergarten. It will be at a different Elementary in the area than the zoned Elem. that she is suppose to attend. Two Kindergarten classes this coming 09-10 school year will participate in the Pilot Program. The classes will consist of selected teachers in the area to work together to teach the kids English and Spanish Equally. Randy and I are very big on the kids making sure they choose Spanish as their second language and feel that we should take courses ourselves. Now and in the future it will be a definate way for ourselves and the kids to excel in there careers. We think this is a great opportunity for Reaganne. I just reserved our spots for the three Manadatory Parent Meetings to learn about the program. I have a list of questions already that I can think of to ask before making any final decisions. Reaganne will be starting Ballet and Tap this coming Monday, and I am so excited for her. She will enjoy it so much more than when she was 2 1/2. I hope to keep Reaganne in some classes each month through the summer, and Taylor if he wants to.
Taylor is growing up fast as well. He is not my little buddy anymore! He is becoming more independent and loves to push our buttons. He is still loving his dinosaurs and hanging out with friends. I hope to get him in some of the YMCA sports programs starting in August. I think it would be good for him to socialize and have something for him. He is going to have a REALLY hard time when Reaganne goes to school. He loves his sister, and even though he likes to pick on her (most of the time) they are best friends and he will be very sad.
We bought some awesome wooden bunk beds for the kids off Craigslist and they are loving them. The kids are FINALLY ON A SCHEDULE and in bed by 8 everynight. We all wake up early and are busy all day. They have a nightly routine and a chore chart to earn stickers through the week to receive a surprise at the end of the week. They are both doing really well. They clean their room, make their bed and clean off their dishes from the table everyday. They have really taken to helping me out around the house, with collecting laundry and unloading the dishwasher. I am proud of myself for utilizing them too. ;)
James has been growing well, and at his 6 month visit finally made the charts, yeah! He is very small for his age, but he is on #2 of solid foods, and he loves his foods. He is very attached to his Mommy, which is sweet, but very hard at the same time. I am having a hard time even leaving him with Daddy! He has a high pitched scream that is horrible, and when he starts there is no stoping him until I am here to pick him up. Randy feels sorry for me to break him of this, but no one understands that when I spent all that time with him in the NICU, he could not make a sound as he was crying and upset. Now when he cries, I cannot go longer than 15 minutes. I start to tear up and remember that helpless baby in the NICU that I wanted to hear so much. So, I am sure I will out grow it, but right now I am dealing the best I can. I am working on his nightly routine, but after he had an ear infection he started waking up in the middle of the night again and has been ever since. My schedule has changed with working, because I use to get up and work early in the morning, but now the kids are up and I usually work after they go to bed, because they are asleep by 8 now. YEAH!
I have been enjoying finding time here and there to read The Twilight Saga, which I am enjoying a lot. I just had my 31st Birthday and enjoyed a day with the family. We went to Chili's which is our family tradition and came home to enjoy the gigantic Chocolate cake Randy got me. The kids really enjoyed celebrating my birthdy with me too this year! Here are some pictures of kids to catch you up on how big they are getting. ;)
James LOVES HIS FEET, and eats on them while he waits for me to get dinner..LOL

Gee they look a lot a like! ;)

James not to sure of Daddy's choice of music...hahahaha...He LOVES MUSIC, but Mommy's kind of music. He really loves when I sing to him, and loves the music in the car. I did a lot of singing when he was in the NICU to him, so maybe it stuck from that...

I will just tell you the "leave comment" button on this post is almost impossible to find. ;) I had to move my mouse around in the dark to find it... :)
