The only one who enjoyed and was excited about the snow was Reaganne. She got out there and played, Taylor on the other hand doesn't want anything to do with it. He hates it. He wanted to it to go away really bad!! James liked it from the window, but never would I let him go out and catch cold. Next probably! I wanted to get out and build a snowman with Reaganne, but never did...next year maybe!
The Boys!
This is James dancing to the Wii New Mario Game...playing along with Taylor! James is a dancing FOOL...he loves to dance to any music he hears..thank goodness he has my rhythm and love for music!
I have created a monster in Taylor with the New Mario Wii game!! He loves to play with me and we are very competitive and make a great team too! He is a little obsessed, so I am wishing for some warm weather ASAP to get out of the house with him, so he will not play soooo much!
The boys hanging out in the 'boat' watching cartoons!
My precious James...finally I have a child that loves Blankets as much as much as I did...I finally can make him a new one like once a month and he loves all of them and takes them every where. We practically have a blanket for every room of this house, each car, and anywhere we go! I love it!! He even hates when I have to wash all his blankets that he sleeps with he will go grab them from the pile on the kitchen floor or lay on them was they wait to be washed in the next load.
Don't you just love the fact that Taylor has his finger jammed in James ear and the expression on both their faces as it is happening...brotherly love..priceless! They really have become buddies, but poor Taylor has to put up with James hitting. Taylor will be in on the ground playing Wii or watching TV and out of no where, here comes James with his bottle, toy car, stick, etc. and WHACK!!! whacks Taylor right on the head..and I will say, "NO NO James, NO hitting, and he will tear up those big beautiful eyes and start the quivering frowny lip and the hypervilation cry in 0-60 seconds. It is hilarious!!!! He sits down on the floor and lays his head on the ground in shame....ahahaha..I need to get it on video it is so sad!!! funny but pitiful! So, I say do you want time out and his new thing is shaking his head No, too cute!
James making his usual Coke Zero Race Car..he loves to find the coke zero empty case box and sit in the middle of it and scoot himself around the house making car sounds!!! hahaha he cracks me up!
Reaganne is doing great in Kindergarten! We are working 'nicely' on her homework together and I stresssss the nicely part! I swear it is like pulling teeth (even that is more pleasant) than having to work with her on her homework or get answers out of her. I swear I will work 40 jobs to send her to tutoring so I can salvage a decent relationship with my daughter when she starts having real homework and projects. I know we won't make it any other way! I have to laugh about it,but I tell you it is insane. She knows the stuff, but she is sooooo worried about my reaction and getting it right with me, it inhibits her from doing it right! I know I put a lot of pressure on her, and I am working on that! Now we are making her 100 sight word flash cards fun and exciting and like a game, and she only does the homework pages that she can do on her own by herself and we leave the ones to do together out. Her teacher (the only kindergarten teacher) sends home like a 18-25 page packet each freakin week to do with the kids each night on top of the 100 flash cards, reading a book, and the five other weekly assignments that are the REAL homework curriculum for kindergarten. I told her teacher she is crazy for sending that stuff home and the last thing I want to do each day is fight with Reaganne or stress about this stupid packet on top of the stuff that is really worth it. IT IS FREAKING KINDERGARTEN for pete's sake...okay I got that out and feel much better now!!! Her teacher said, do what we can and don't worry about the rest....okay whatever, then when we don't do it all I feel like the bad mother that isn't doing it all!! So, I have just picked the pages that Rea can do by herself and not have me hanging over her shoulder stressing her out and we are both happy! Anyway, she is doing great though! She is so close to reading, she can read all the first time books that they send home. She is still continuing to get Purples for behavior which is the highest you can get! She have still NEVER missed a day of school or been tardy! Whoohoo! She loves her specials classes, music, computer, P.E. and Art! She has her first Field Trip coming up this Monday, and I am having a hard time letting her go on the School Bus, but I don't want her to be the only kids riding with Mommy to the Museum. I still haven't decided if I am bringing the boys to be there too to make sure she is safe...how sad am I. I know I can't be the only Mom out there that worries about this same stuff. She has her Kindergarten Music Concert coming on the 30th so she is very excited about that! There is also movie night and muffins with moms coming this month too! So, she is crazy busy and loving every minute of it.
I finally got the call from Medical City of Dallas, to go to the orientation in March to start my Volunteering Program. They have two openings in the NICU/Pediatric Wing..so I get to do both or choose one..I am very excited. I plan on going and finding out all that I need to know for the scholarship program for nursing and talk to an advisor at Collin College to find out where I need to start on my nursing degree! Very excited about this. Work is going well, I was one of the top 3 out of the 3 Editing Teams to win a gift card for having less than 1% discrepancies for three months in a row. I am doing well and working hard! It is nice to be recognized for all my hard work and long hours finally. The company I have been working for has been laying off people left and right for performance, so when I get on a conference call for the month I am always biting my nails wondering if I am doing well or not. Now we are being recognized through the Editing Teams for our performance and it feels good to know I am doing well! Go me!!! Toot Toot! I am very blessed to have a job from home that pays well and allows me the freedom to choose my own hours! Even though there are many days when I wish I could leave and come home and not worry about work! O well, not complaining..very blessed! Randy is doing well at work too, he is working for a great company that treat and recongnize him for his outstanding performances as well too! His new job is great and the people are great too! He is still very busy with his church calling, and is gone a lot with that through the evenings during the week, but he is happy and loves doing service for others!
