James and I hung out together all day. He just laid on my chest and was very happy. I had a very hard time leaving him today. I just don't want to put him down. He his still working on his vocal cords. He has the saddest sweetest cry. It sounds more like a wounded animal than a baby. He is doing so good they moved him out of the POD he was in, into another area. I got to pick his little room out and I got the semi-suite with doors and a sink. Pretty cool, huh? I think so, more privacy. Then I changed some diapers and he ate a lot today. He is doing really well with his latching on. He hopefully will come off his canula tomorrow, which is the little air supply he is getting. His bili-ruben count was actually high, so he is a little jaundice right now, which is not normal at two weeks old, but they are watching it and might put him under a spot light tomorrow if needed.
Reaganne and Taylor go to the Doctor tomorrow for their check-ups. I thought it would be good to take them and we can make sure they are well for when James comes home next week. Reaganne is due for her 4 year old shots and flu shot, and Taylor has some congestion and a green nose, so he might have to get a shot. We learned that antibiotics don't work for our kids, so we do shots instead. It comes out cheaper that way. ;) They don't know they are getting shots, however Reaganne will MEET James tomorrow afterwards. She is allowed to, but Taylor is not, because he is not 3 yet. I will post a picture of Reaganne holding James, if I can get one. If he is on Bili Ruben lights than he cannot be picked up. So, hopefully he will not be. ;) I will keep you all posted. It was a great cuddling and lovey day today!
