Check out the cramped quarters, see baby James in the reflection! HAHA, they fit that's all that matters! Right?Right!
We have been to the doctors a lot lately, first visit was Reaganne's 4 year old well visit for five shots, then Tayor needed to have two shots for the ear infection and sinus infection before Baby James came home. Then we went back last week for Baby James check-up from out of the NICU and Taylor had to get a Flu shot. So, Taylor hates the Doctor and cries and pouts everytime I say we have to go there, I even told him that I put protector pants (jeans) on him that way the Doctoe would not give him shot, that this visit is just for Baby James. Little does he know that we have to go back in a month for both him and Baby James to get shots, one for the Hep B, and Taylor for his 3 year old well visit. Poor Tay Tay! Anyways, this is Taylor POUTING IN THE CAR, he is so cute when he pouts, you can't help but not to laugh at him, and he will always crack a smile. ;)
This is Reaganne saying, "No shots, right Mommy?"
At the Doctors, the kids got these toys, and Taylor was hiding behind my leg everytime the nurse or doctor came in...you will have to use your imagination on that one, I didn't get a picture of that. Baby James is undressed and ready for the examination, and Big Brother "Buddy" finally want to hold him again, so I had to take a picture of that! ;) Taylor is also know to us as Buddy, for those who don't know the story, his daddy calls him that and ever since Baby James has finally come home, he will not answer to anything else but BUDDY! He will correct you if you say Taylor, I was calling his name when we walked out the door of the doctors and when I walked out I was holding the door and turned to get a better grip, and I did not see Buddy walk out, so I was angerly calling Taylor's name and he would not come or answer me, I told Reaganne to go in and get him and she said, "Mommy, he is right behine you." Oh, so I said,"Tayor, you scared Mommy, why did you not answer me when I was calling your name." "Because I am Buddy, Mom!" Too cute!
So, then we call Daddy and ask if he can get away from work to meet us for lunch, but he can't leave, so I promised the kids by that point to get McDonald's as a reward for being so good at the Doctors for me. So, I had to follow through, I even tried to get away with we can't go in becuase of Baby James, it's too crowded, it's closed, it's dirty, it's only for big kids, it's...it's by that time the crying was annoying and I said fine we can go in. So, after seeing how crowded the one by our house is at 2:00PM I drove all the way to another one that is never crowded. Well, it wasn't bad, we sat in the back and the baby was covered the entire time. It amazes me how some people just stare at you and know you need someone to hold the door for you, but they continue to watch you like you are a car wreck ready to happen. So, my sweet "big/strong" kids pushed the door open for me to carry the baby and the tray of food through. They were proud of themselved too! My big helpers! So, we finally got settled in and then a bunch of kids came in that were too old to be playing on the equipment and I looked down for a second and heard a scream from one of the annoying girls inside the equipment and when I looked back up this is what I found. Well, first I did not find Taylor, and my heart skipped a beat, and I learned my lesson on yelling for Buddy, and I did. This is where my Buddy was.....
Under the Table, hiding from the scary girls and boys screaming. He was not happy with the loud noise! Then I finally got him to eat and he just didn't enjoy himself. Then I said, "Kids, this is why we go through the drive through!" Reaganne's response, "Mommy, this is fun, I like it inside, it is where all the kids are!" Now you get an idea of the two VERY different personalities of my kids, it is a mini Reaganne and a mine Randy! Social, not so Social! Even Taylor gets overwhelmed at Grandma's when more than one family is over. He clings to me, Randy or Grandma if we are not there. I mean holding the leg, follow you around, trip on him because he is underneath you clingy. He does not like BIG groups at ALL! But, in Nursery at church or with strangers in a school setting he is fine!
Don't laugh...no make-up!
Then we were all happy to be going home!
OH YEAH....THE REASON FOR THE OUTING IN THR FIRST PLACE! James is doing GREAT! He is 8 lbs 7.6 oz, 21.5 inches and DOES NOT NEED FORMULA SUPPLEMENTS! YEAH! We make a good team, me producing enough, him taking in enough! This is the longest I have been able to breastfeed! With Reaganne, I just did not know what I was doing, and I pumped and fed it to her in a bottle, but dried up quickly doing just that. Then with Taylor, knew what I was doing and producing a lot, but got a double ear infection three weeks after he was born and he went a month on what I had frozen, but I dried up from all the medicine. Then James, all I could do is concentrate on this while he was in the NICU! ;)
