Reaganne's First Day of Kindergarten....Boohoo (and a little Yahoo)

This morning went very smoothly...we took the kids TV out of their room, and they are now going to bed with nothing but Primary songs playing softly in their room, so it has made for a much better sleep for each of them. Reaganne woke up excited and ready to go to school. She was more excited about her backpack/lunch box than anything. I have been trying to hold it together all weekend. I broke down during prayer last night, because I was having to talk about it out loud.. ;(
Before leaving for school...Could you tell I couldn't get enough pictures of Reaganne and me...Well, Daddy was not up or dressed so he couldn't share in the picture fun...yet!

Then we get to school and it is like a cattle call from the Gym to the classrooms with all the parents and kids. LOL We arrive in the hallway and she walks in to the classroom...
it was like PEACE OUT...SEE YA LATER!!! LOL
There were tears shed, she wasn't trying to ditch me that bad, but it was at the end and she said, "Mommy, I am going to miss you!" and we lost it!! She was fine when I finally could tear myself away, and I went straight home to get it all out! I feel good and I am really excited for her! I have to thank all my WONDERFUL AND SWEET friends for texting me and calling me bright early this morning and all day, for checking on me and thinking of Reaganne and I at this time of change. You all are awesome and made me really realize what true friends you all are to think of us either really early in the morning or as you are dropping your own kids off. Thank you so much for being my friends!!!!I love you all!

The boys and I had a very QUIET (HINCE THE YAHOO) and lonely day as we counted the hours to being able to walk and go get Reaganne. We are so excited that we get to walk to school and walk to pick her up. ;) Taylor rode his bike and James hung out in the stroller!
This Taylor saying...."Come on, Mommy, let's go get Reaganne!" He is really adjusting to his best friend being gone all day! ;( I need to find him some little boys to play with!

This is my Big Girl after her first day!!! Still smiling pretty, that is a good thing! I was so excited to see her and couldn't wait to wrap my arms around her that I forgot to get the picture of her coming out of the school to meet us! ;( I will get it this week sometime!

What a huge grin on her face! How exciting. That is so sweet (and sad for mama)when she called out that she will miss you. I am excited about being able to walk too. I feel very thankful that we live close enough to the elementary school to walk. I remember walking to school as well and it seems like it is something every kid should experience!
