Summer is going by fast...

The Summer seems to be going by really fast. We have enjoyed swimming, playing at the gym, and meeting new friends in our new ward. James has finally accepted the Playcenter at the Gym as a fun place to play and it is okay to be without Mommy for awhile. =) Which is great for me. I finally know what it is like to work out before the sun goes down. Reaganne is getting ready to turn 6, and I have signed her up for a week long Summer Camp at the Gym, and they are going on a field trip as well. She will be going to the Roller Skating Rink. She loves roller skating, so she is very excited. This is the week before her birthday. Today, she had a blast with our friend Emmi at the Gym, who called me to bring her up for the Girls Camp Make-over day. She was so excited. She got to spend the whole afternoon hanging out with all girls doing hair, make-up, manicures and pedicures. They watched a princess movie and ate lunch together. Emmi is about to start UNT this coming Fall, so we will miss her when she leaves, but we know she will be babysitting often. Reaganne came home all pretty and made up. She loved it. I took Reaganne and Taylor to one of the local gymnastic places in the area for a free session. They absolutely loved it, but it is ridiculous in my eyes to pay $170 a month for two kids for one hour sessions once a week. There is NO additional free play or anything to benefit from doing it. When I asked the girl if there was free play time in addition to their class, she said, "No, if you want free play, there is a Chick-fil-a next door and they have a playcenter." LOL Okay thanks, for the info. I am still in search for a Gymnastics class for both kids. They had a blast and would really like to continue. The facility was really nice, they took a video to email Randy and then gave each of them a ref. magnet picture from the session, and a t-shirt. BUT it is just to expensive. Taylor is getting excited about starting Pre-school. He wants to go backpack shopping. Randy went and survived his first Campout with the Young Men from Church. They went canoeing. Poor Randy had to sleep on rocks, so we will be getting him a mattress to sleep on. He will be going on monthly overnight campouts, and we are getting use to the idea of him being gone overnight. I actually slept the night he was gone, because the night before I stayed up full of anxiety about him being gone overnight. LOL I have been working hard on working out and losing weight. It is happening slowly but surely. =) That's about it for now!
